The Taylor's wedding day was absolutely perfect. Stacie + Lucas are a beautiful display of a Christian marriage, and their day represented that in the best way. They kept it traditional and did not see each other before the ceremony, but they did have an intimate moment (on two sides of a door) of devotion, prayer and gift giving just before it began. This sequence in the film could have been ten minutes long because it was just so sweet. I teared up a bit while filming it because it's very rare that you see a young couple so devoted to living like Christ - they were inspiring to witness.
Rain began to fall just as the ceremony started, but stopped as soon as Stacie walked out of The Ashley Inn. Prayer, vows, rings, foot washing + worship all followed and ended with the sweetest kiss. The rest of their day went smoothly and we even got some awesome footage in the sun by the horses. Their tent reception was such a joy to film and I'm still dreaming of that cake...
